| STS ACADEMY SERVICES Grades K-12 Enrolled Students 1,012 Site Locations 11 Before School/After School Program (Grades K- 5) STS Academy offers a Before School and After School program at 60 Civic Avenue for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Transportation is provided to school (in the morning) and from school (in the afternoon). Services span from 6AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday. Students receive breakfast each morning, lunch, snacks and a hot supper daily. Our trained staff provide tutoring, homework assistance, and enrichment activities. Fun Fridays, monthly birthday celebrations and student of the month are all big hits at this site. Rates are as low as $90.00 per month and are available on this website. Parents may qualify for County Childcare assistance!
On Site After School Programs
  Elementary School (Grades 1-5)
Monday through Friday immediately after school until 6:00 PM, services are provided at each student’s home school. Students receive:
Homework Assistance, Enrichment/Recreational Activities & Tutoring from certified instructors who follow up with classroom teachers. Space is limited for this program. *Enrichment/Recreational Activities include Arts & Crafts, Math (w/daily math quiz) & Science Projects, Games, Writing and school district wide competition in Spelling, Chess, Track, Soccer and more.

High School (Grades 9-12) Pittsburg Afterschool Community Collaborative (PACC) This highly innovative program is collaboration between The City of Pittsburg and the Pittsburg Unified School District. Programs offered include: · Tutoring · Teen 2 Teach · Credit Recovery · Driver’s Training · Mentoring
STS Summer Playground Programs 2011
STS Academy continues to enrich students throughout the summer providing summer fun programs in safe- healthy environments. Summer programs are held at Buchanan Park, City Park, and Highlands Ranch. Students participate
in games, field trips and academic activities and are provided nutritious snacks.  In 2012 STS Academy had another successful summer and is currently planning improvements for our 2013 summer program. Looking forward to a mild-weathered, academic focused, field trip filled STS extravaganza. Proving that summer learning can be fun and playing sports is an excellent way to socialize. Weekly field trips are a big hit. To cap off the great summer, a summer-ending celebrationat Small World Park where students from City Park, Highlands Ranch, and Buchanan Park danced, sang, and performed their little hearts out. As
great as the summer of 2012 was, STS Academy expects bigger and better things for the
summer of 2013.

STS Academy continues to go above and beyond serving the community youth including: ·Transporting & Distributing approximately 6,000lbs of fresh produce weekly to each elementary school in collaboration with Contra Costa County Food Bank ·Providing Spring & Winter Break Activities for Elementary & Middle School Students ·Providing summer camps for approximately 750 Elementary & Middle School Students ·Adult Literacy ·Constructing the Community Garden at Los Medanos Hospital ·Constructing and Maintaining Butterfly Exhibit for community collaborative with City of Pittsburg. Every student will succeed through their effort with help from our trained professionals!
