Highlands Elementary A.S.P. Overview
The Highlands Elementary School site is divided into groups, providing a more structured environment. This also reinforces and encourages a positive group dynamic that is crucial in early childhood development.
Fish-1st grade
Starfish- 2nd grade
Eels-3rd grade
Sharks- 4th grade
Whales-5th grade
Sessions are divided according to season, where enrichment and academic activities are planned weeks in advance, according to that time of year.

Autumn (September- December)
Winter (January- March)
Spring (April- June)

Vision

A community that believes all children regardless of race, religion, or economic status should have the opportunity to receive the best education available.

Mission Statement

STS Academy bridges the gap between inner-city youth who prosper and benefit from the public school system and those who struggle and sometimes fail. We help to bridge this gap by establishing frequent and direct communication between parents, teachers, students and STS. We refer to this communication as The Ultimate Partnership.
